For as far back into my childhood that I can remember I wanted to be a skydiver. I tried to learn when I was 13, 14, 15, and so on, but I had to wait to the legal age of 18. Once I set foot on a drop zone and experienced freefall for the first time I knew it would be in my life for a long, long time. I got my license the year I turned 18 in New York.
For the next three years I did my best to jump as much as possible while finishing college. After college I headed west to spend some time learning more about the sport at Skydive Arizona. That was in 1998. I have happily been here ever since.
